It's one of our favorite weeks here at birth | Fort Worth- National Midwifery Week!

We figured what a better way to celebrate than to share a few shout-outs from our clients about why they loved using a midwife. Read on and enjoy!!

"What more can I say about this amazing woman? She took a mainstream, uneducated mother that didn't have any knowledge of birth, of what foods to NOT eat or how much water to drink. My first birth I was so clueless and she took it in stride. I call her my Army Sergeant, but that was what I needed. Love and a firm "no" when I would eat the wrong foods. She kept me in line and educated me in areas I never knew before. I am a better wife, mom, birther, AND person because of our midwife. At my birth, she was my rock, my prayer warrior, and a mother.

Little did we know that 9 months later she would be what kept us grounded as we went through cancer and chemo with my husband, Cody. She was our go-to. She was family.

Then, I called her one day shocked beyond belief. God had given us a second child. And this time she was still that army sergeant, but not so much as she needed to be. This time she was the one to help with my worries of this surprise baby. She was my support and my doula.

Our midwife has not only been a mother to me in the birth world, but a mother in my daily world. She has been my friend to lean on when I couldn't stand alone, she has handed me by babies and she is one of the most amazing ladies that I know."
