Meet Rachael Ibarra - Birth Doula with Birth Fort Worth
Hello! My name is Rachael and I live in Fort Worth with my sweet little family and our kitty Luna Girl.
I met my husband Ulises on MySpace, way back when that was cool, and we have a beautiful, crazy, kind, ambitious son named Joaquin who fills our days with endless love and total chaos.

I became interested in the birth world after Ulises and I decided we wanted to have a baby; I knew there were other options for me out there, I just didn't know to what extent. I began researching care providers, birthing methods, and the various roles surrounding a pregnant person's health. Y'all. It was EYE. OPENING. Like, did you know that we're actually capable of doing this whole birth thing ANY WAY WE CHOOSE? I mean, wow, what a concept! Midwifery care was the best choice for me personally, and I firmly believe in each person making the best decision for themselves, their baby, and their family.
I have been a doula in the DFW area since 2014 and am fortunate to have worked with a number of incredible professionals along the way. I love everything about my job, from the first time I meet a new client to the first time they meet their new baby. My main goals in being your doula are to empower you to make confident decisions, reduce any fear or apprehension you may have, and to help you not only realize the awesome power that every pregnant person possesses, but to utilize and own that power!
