7/8/19 - UPDATE: FREE SNOW AT LUMI IS BACK!!

Hey, y’all!! Almost three years ago, I wrote one of my very favorite blog posts thus far, Top 6 Things to Do Around Ft. Worth When You're 40+ Weeks Pregnant, over at my old site, doulabarb.com

A recent FB post about fabulous freebie offered up by a local company made me realize it's time for an update so keep reading for the inside scoop!

5 Things to Do in Fort Worth on Your Due Date

(in no particular order)

5. Enjoy a FREE snow from Lumi Snow!

4. Get a prenatal massage

No, it's not selfish- it's self CARE and I can't think of a better time for self-care than when you're 40 weeks pregnant.  Celia, our friend at With Guided Hands Massage & Birth Services, has been a masseuse for 10 years now and also works as a doula so you know she *gets it*.

Spending an hour NOT thinking about how you're still pregnant will be money well spent, we promise.

3. Get a adjusted by a Webster Certified Chiropractor

It's NEVER too late to enjoy the benefits of chiropractic care- even on your due date!  When I was pregnant, I saw Dr. Michelle Parker in Aledo and Dr. Kristen Hosaka in Burleson and I very much looked forward to our weekly appointments and the relief they provided.

If you're closer to Fort Worth,  be sure stop in and see Dr. Aliena Davis at Precision Chiropractic for a FREE consult and ask about adding on-call chiropractic support to your birth plan!  (I KNOW, right??)

2. Schedule an appointment for beautiful pregnancy henna with DreamTree Arts!

Seriously- that gorgeous belly is just *begging* for some beautiful pregnancy henna! Kelly is such a cool chick and incredibly talented... and, it's the perfect addition to number 4 on the list...

1. Due Date Photos!
